The Health Campus Agency cooperates with numerous regional partners. Together we want to attract new companies to our location, support spin-offs and develop innovative projects. The close-knit network consisting of all the many different stakeholders in the healthcare sector ensures that companies can quickly find the right partners for their projects and that work can be distributed appropriately.
Initiative Group
The approximately 60 members of our Initiativkreis, all of them decisionmakers from companies, scientific institutions and the healthcare services sector, form a network of stakeholders and institutions which are relevant for this healthcare location. Their specific task is to operationalise topics and ideas and to contribute their knowledge and expertise. They are also ambassadors for the Health Campus Bochum promoting the national and international image of Bochum as a location for the healthcare sector.

Our aim is to use Bochum’s great potential more effectively for the development of the city as a location for healthcare. This is what our committee of experts stands for, a group made up of one representative from each of the worlds of business, science and healthcare. Innovationsfonds Ruhr
Start-up companies that are looking for funding opportunities can find support from the Innovationsfonds Ruhr. The regional investment fond which is, in this way offered for the first time backs up innovative business concepts with equity each amounting up to € 50,000. Moreover, the business starters can benefit from the expertise of former entrepreneurs and top managers who are now volunteering as IHK-Senior-Experts in order to share their precious experiences. The innovation fund Ruhr is a joint initiative by the Ruhr-University Bochum, rubitec GmbH, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, IHK-Senior-Experts and Sparkasse Bochum and is sponsored by the federal state North Rhine-Westphalia.
