The Health Campus Agency Bochum

The nucleus for developing innovative healthcare solutions

The Health Campus Agency Bochum strengthens the healthcare sector in Bochum and the region. It’s goal as an incubator for innovative projects is to bring new companies to the area, to support start-ups and to add value to the growing healthcare market together with existing companies. Through this, the agency contributes to the healthy development of the whole region.

The agency

  • provides full-service for companies and start-ups (conceptual consultancy, partners, networks, funding, flexible office and laboratory space etc.)
  • does strategic technology scouting to match global trends and local knowhow
  • creates a climate of interdisciplinary information exchange and platforms for cooperations

In developing innovative, patient-oriented care solutions, companies and scientists profit from the excellent networking with the healthcare sector. The high density of hospitals in the region as well as practitioners’ networks and further organizations offer a reference market for new treatments and products, located in the centre of the Ruhr metropolis.

The Health Campus Agency Bochum is supported by economic, scienctific and healthcare experts. The expert board builds up connections, develops networks and initiates projects. Together, public and private funding is acquired for the projects.
